I loved this piece. But I have to say, I often find that the travel and style section of the NYTimes is written with these folks in mind!

Just listening to some folks on the Slate culture gabfest try to rationalize these guys “living according to their station” was stomach-churning. (Even for someone who’s been conditioned by the book “The Idea of Luxury” to see the relativity of penury and prosperity!)

and worst of all….they took a gratuitous shot at the PATH!
