Whew. Brought the archives fully back online. Big whoop.
Yes, but having the archives in the new format gives me the chance to start doing redesign and reorganization work again. For example, now that I've settled on this two-level "section/item" schema for my XML, I can consistently drop day-by-day headers into the archives. Plus, the new format is amenable to proper archiving, so I can actually pull my writings on a given topic together properly. I've only rolled out a couple of sections, but if you'll direct your attention over to the sidebar, you'll see a "Position Papers" link, which takes you to my new writings index page, conveniently sorted by subject. No new content, yes, I know, but the old stuff is a lot easier to get at now, which I think counts half a point.
